Kelly was a past Bridesmaid turned Bride for me! You can find her in some of Kate’s Wedding from Last June. How cute that they both go married in the month of June! We started out the day at Gable Hill Cottage. Basically, a whole separate house just for the Bride + Groom. Upstairs was dedicated to the Bride and all of Downstairs was for the Groom. As soon as I turned the corner, and walked into the room Kelly was getting ready, I gasped at how pretty her wedding dress was! All of her Bridesmaids put so much effort into the way it was hanging and draped. I then of course gave Kelly a HUGE hug because its always so great to see my Bride’s. Even when they are nervous, yet excited for their big day. I thought it was SO PERFECT that the two spots where both Kelly and Tim were getting ready, it made it so much easier for me to go back and forth between the two and capture as many moments as possible. Its much easier than driving to different locations and I was the only photographer for the day. I’d switch back and forth between the girls getting all dolled up and the guys grabbing butts, sneaking in shots and goofing off! After all the girls were done and ready, I set up the girls to see Kelly in her wedding dress, earrings on, ready to go! Her sister was the only one who could see her before because she was helping Kelly into her dress. We also used the same spot for Kelly’s Dad to see her for the first time, pre-ceremony as well and you can totally tell he was trying so hard to hold in the tears!! Then it was the BIG first look with Kelly + Tim. All the tears, smiles and “OMG you look amazing!!” I love when they both check each other out and really take in the moment to see all the planning and effort they both put into their attire. I love the emotions that happen. I love that you totally forget I am there and completely relish in your own little bubbles. Then it was time for the ceremony. Walking down the aisle with her Father with the BIGGEST smile. Doing this cute little, “I heart you” type gesture to her Dad which I totally gathered was a “thing” that Kelly and her Dad have always done! LOVE! The best speeches are the ones that come straight from the the heart and that is exactly where Kelly and Tims came from!!! Tears, laughs and even a fly that landed on Tim’s Face haha but no worries, Kelly totally got it off his face and then it kind of looked like she was slapping him hahahahaha OH how Marriage has only just begun. JUST KIDDING! Enjoy the rest of the party…which included cupcakes, beautiful yet emotional first dances and partying like there was no tomorrow! Congrats Guys!! I look forward to watching you and your new family grow throughout the years. <3

“Julie is your photographer! Seriously, look no further you have found the missing piece for your wedding. I can’t say enough amazing things about Julie, her work and the way she enhanced my wedding. Julie went above and beyond which can been seen throughout our wedding and engagement pictures. She was hands down my favorite vendor. Julie is FANOMINAL to work with. She makes things super easy and less stressful on the couple. I was concerned at first because we live on the opposite side of the state than her but it was never an issue. Julie communication is quick and effective. She would text, Facebook message, email and video chat me depending on my availability and which work better for me in the moment. She’s reliable! I would find myself panicking about something photo related and I was calmed with a quick response and flexible attitude. Julie is ORGANZIED! This was a huge selling point for me because I wanted a photographer that would help keep the day running smoothly while still capturing all the little moments I wanted. Julie helped me put together my “day off” timeline complete with my “must have shots”. I felt confident that she had everything covered every step of the way. It helped me feel calmer going into the wedding and made me confident that I could just be in the moment and she would take care of us (which she beyond did). Julie kept our family portraits on time with the level of preparation she put in. She can wrangle in straying family members and still get stunning photographs. She has my family laughing and enjoying time together during their photographer rather than stiff and uncomfortable. My heart was sold on having Julie after our engagement photos. My husband is typically uncomfortable and awkward in front of the camera. He tends to shut down when he is unsure and I was terrified this would come through in our pictures. Julie made him feel at ease and he even said he forgot she was taking pictures at one point. Julie has this unexplainable way of capturing the essence of who you are as a couple. It wasn’t stiff or too posed but a moment in time of your love being shared. I cried when I saw my engagement pictures. I finally felt like I could truly see myself and my husband’s relationship jump off the pictures. Julie stole the show! My friends, family and guest have asked about Julie more than any of my other vendors. They all have been raving about loving getting to work with her, loving the quality of her pictures and wanting to get referrals to work with her. It’s been over 2 months since my wedding and people are still raving about her! And honestly, so am I! She has SNEEK PEAK photos from my wedding day before she even left the venue that night. Talk about knocking it out of the park! My wedding photos arrived to me within the time frame she set and all the while STILL keeping up constant communication with me. The pictures are breath taking. Her photos are not over edited and have a natural sense about them. She caught the essence of everyone present at my wedding in addition to getting big event down to the tiniest detail. I can’t stop gushing over my album! You will not be disappointed in Julie or her work. You can tell she truly cares about the quality of her product and the interactions she has with her couple. She puts her heart into every step and it showed throughout our time working with her. She is the photographer you dream of having at your wedding.”
