The Landing at Estes Park for a Secluded Mountain Getaway Wedding

It can be easy to lean into the stress of a wedding, but one of the biggest perks of a mountainside wedding is the true escape of being in the wilderness. At The Landing at Estes Park, you can unwind amongst the banks of a beautiful river, with incredible mountain views and so much fresh air; you may start to wonder why anyone would choose to live in or near a city. The Landing has room for ceremony, reception, and even lodging, so you can have your favorite people in one space as you come together to celebrate finding the love of your life. Keep reading to find out more about what makes them awesome!

About The Landing at Estes Park

The Landing has a long history of love and commitment, purchased by its current owners from a lovely elderly woman who had tenderly cared for the property with her husband for nearly five decades. The journey of The Landing’s loving and respectful renovations began in 2015. So many of the original owners’ creative touches have been thoughtfully preserved, like their authentic stonework, hand-cut iron detailing, and hand-painted flowers on the pond gazebo.

Today, The Landing is a secluded mountain getaway venue for couples looking to escape alongside their closest friends and family to celebrate their love in a casual, relaxed environment. They offer onsite accommodations for up to 30 people in a variety of recently renovated suites, villas, and cabins, and with all of their wedding rentals in two-day blocks, it’s perfect for a couple who wants to offer family or wedding parties the option to stay onsite the night before the wedding.

Details of the Grounds

The Landing is a fairly flexible place for a wedding. You can use several of their spaces to create your perfect wedding.

Prepare with your bridal party in a cozy bridal suite with beautiful wooden doors and comfortable furniture. It’s an ideal spot for lovely getting-ready photos as you have your hair and makeup done and step into your beautiful gown.

You may opt to have your ceremony outdoors and riverside, using the beautiful rushing river, surrounding trees, and mountain vistas as a spectacular backdrop for exchanging your vows. Set up and decorate an arch however you like to tie in your wedding theme and decor, or keep it simple and let the nature around you speak for itself.

For your reception, their event hall is the perfect place to gather and celebrate you and your partner. It has plenty of charm and rustic romance, upscale finishes, and space for up to 120 people.

It has an authentic barnwood bar, a catering kitchen, plenty of outdoor deck space that overlooks the river, large wooden beams on the ceiling, old-world light fixtures, and much more. Curl up by the cozy stone fireplace, and soak in every inch of the stunning panoramic views of Longs Peak and the beautiful river below.

Photography Opportunities

There are so many beautiful spots for photos at The Landing, and plenty incorporate the gorgeous scenery. There is a beautiful bridge that practically floats over the river that is ideal for wedding party pictures or even intimate couple portraits.

We’ll take advantage of architectural features like their beautiful big red doors and the rustic exteriors of their cabins and cottages and explore the riverbanks and surrounding groves of trees for true mountainside shots. Depending on the season you get married, we may be able to incorporate beautiful summer wildflowers or even pristine blankets of white mountain snow!

Wedding Details

When you book your wedding at The Landing, you’ll be the only event or group on the property, so you won’t have to deal with strangers wandering around your celebration. They’ll help you ensure you’ve thought of every detail so you can sit back and enjoy your wedding day rather than running around to execute it yourself.

And believe me, you’ll want to sit back and soak in every moment at The Landing, let alone on your wedding day! If you’re interested in more specifics and pricing, check out their website or give them a call!
