Tacos! + Venturing to an Unexpected Trail | Traverse City Adventure Engagement Session

Anything that starts with tacos + margaritas has to be a good time, I mean honestly…we already knew that #amiright but let’s add Clarissa + Mike. A couple undeniably, in love! We met back in October 2019 (WAAAAY before all this COVID crap started) and they knew right away that they wanted to book with me! Let’s rewind a little bit more…I actually met Clarissa when she was a Bridesmaid/Maid of Honor for Ashley (See also: Ashley + Adam Wedding at The Grand Belle in Holly, Michigan)
Part of having an Adventure Engagement Session is it allows more time to get to know each other. Some time to meet up beforehand for food + drinks! A time to really ENJOY this once in a lifetime experience. Our original plan was to meet up at The Little Fleet in Traverse City, Michigan then Pyramid Point and I am SO glad my little Taco Truck was still there. No joke, every other truck was different than last year. So we headed to grab some tacos + margaritas for some laughs, feeding each other (them, not me…to be clear hahaha) and they even threw in their own little flare…a dip right in the middle of the tables. Some even started to cheer, one chick was like what the hell…ohhhh okay! What I love the most about throwing in their own flare is how comfortable they feel with me. Enough to be themselves and go with the flow, totally trusting me and the process and just enjoying themselves and having a great time. Those are my kinna people, truth be told! After belly’s were full, we literally chased the light an hour away and hiked a (less than) mile trail to the dunes. An unexpected trail I found the day before. I remember hiking this trail and then texting Clarissa right away like “GIRRRRRL…we need to go HERE!!” and we did! We had about an hour so we enjoyed the dreamiest sunset on the dunes and took in every minute we had till it was dark and we hiked back. If you saw my Instagram stories, you would see I gave a go at my innermost Elsa in the woods….in the dark. No one called back and I’m kinna grateful for that because of how dark it was and what that would mean…we were not alone haha! (Check under the “Trails” Highlight) Check out what Clarissa had to say about their Adventure Engagement Session a few days later.
